Why is all of this happening? Hurricanes with total destruction, earthquakes, shootings, and people departing from the planet left, and right? What does this violence from weather and mankind mean for us…the survivors?

Just hours before the Las Vegas shooting, I was standing in the airport, leaving Vegas, with a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. It’s difficult to explain the feeling of a horrible premonition. I knew something was going to happen, I just didn’t know exactly what, and that is frustrating for me. I wish I could see more clearly, and maybe participate in stopping tragedies from happening, but that is another story for another day.

When horror happens, whether it’s from Mother Nature, or a Human Being, we have the tendency to come together. Heroes are born within seconds, doing everything in their power to save lives, and help in anyway possible. We line up to give blood. We open our homes to strangers. We offer food, money, clothing, time, and whatever else we can think of to help ease the pain. We give and give and give. This giving heals our emotional wounds. This giving makes something beautiful from something hideous. But, still, it doesn’t answer, “Why?”

I sat with the angels, masters and guides today. I meditated, paying very close attention to my breath. I felt each inhale, and measured each exhale, feeling God’s grace in the gift of life. And that’s all we have, this breath. We are not guaranteed the next breath, it’s truly a gift of life, every second. It’s precious and powerful.

This is our, “Why?” This is the reminder. We don’t have any guarantees for tomorrow. How will you make a difference with your next breath, and the next, and the next? How will you reach those who need your gifts, your story, and your power so that they can also be empowered?

Are you tired of playing small?

If you could change your world, right now, what would it look like? What would you need to DO to MAKE it happen? You’re never too old, too young, too anything. You are a powerful being, with magic inside of you. If you need help finding it, I’m here. Text – “I’m ready!” to 404-993-5570, and let’s work together so that one of your breaths is not wasted.

Much love,
Allyson Roberts
